Another old but difficult to forget movie is ‘Padosan’. It’s a classic with awfully admired comedy movie with the castings Kishore Kumar, Mehmood and Sunil Dutt.

Those days are gone. Bollywood movies are now more attractive with advanced digital technologies. Qualities of images, sounds everything has been developed a lot. Actors and actresses are now more well groomed. But the craze of comedy movies are still in high demand. ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’, ‘Bade Miya Chote Miya’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Kya Kool hai hum’, ‘Maine pyar kyun kiya’, ‘Haseena maan jaayegi’ are some comedy movies which have been screened brilliantly.

Along with the famous movies we never forget the names of Mehmood, Asrani, Kesto Mukherjee who have brilliantly played their role as comedian. Mehmood in ‘Padosan’, Asrani in ‘Sholay’, Utpal Dutta in ‘Golmaal’ are some name whom we won’t forget! Present days Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Jadav, Boman Irani are some of the famous comedian who are extremely talented and capable of making people laugh for hours. The most interesting part is that with the craze of comedy movies the other serious actors who even famous for action movies are also now working in comedy movies. Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty are now working in many Bollywood movies where you’ll find difficult to stay without laugh. Akshay Kumar is outstanding in recent comedy movies ‘Heyy babyy’ and ‘Welcome’ who is well known as action hero!

Audiences are liking comedy movies, they want to laugh more! They don’t want to spend money for boring and meaningless action movies. Yet, romantic movies are still welcomed by the people but researches have shown audiences always prefer a good romantic movie with strong story line, unless it’s difficult for the film to get success in Box Office. The producers are thus investing their money for ‘Dhol’, ‘Dhamaal’, ‘Heyy Babby’, ‘Sunday’, ‘Welcome’ and many more movies which are fully enjoyable with lots of fun!

Why Sarah Palin is the Best Darn Comedy on TV Today – a Newport Beach Entertainment Attorney’s View

It really doesn’t matter if you are Republican, Democrat or Independent, whether you live or work in Hollywood, Los Angeles, or live in Malibu, or live and work outside the entertainment industry anywhere from Orange County to San Diego, from Carlsbad, or Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe and San Marcos to Newport Beach, Laguna Beach or Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Anaheim, Irvine or Yorba Linda. Even if you live in Montecito or Santa Barbara, Temecula, Palm Desert, La Quinta or Palm Springs, you have got to love Sarah Palin for the comedy she has brought back to television and to this election.

Before I even start this article, there will be some out there who will say Sarah Palin is being picked on. Whether or not you believe that to be true or false, this candidate is giving us some of the best comedy a politician has ever given us, and at a time when we have never needed it more. Saturday Night Live could never have hoped for a better candidate to skewer.

Who knew that the straight man or in this case straight woman would turn out to be Katie Couric?

First there was Sarah Palin’s attempt to explain her position that by the fact that Alaska is geographically close to Russia, that she has foreign policy experience. Couric asked why Palin’s experience in Alaska enhances her foreign policy credentials.

Palin: Well, it certainly does because our next door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia –

Couric: Have you ever been involved in any negotiations for example, with the Russians?

Palin: We have trade missions back and forth. We do – it’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia – as Putin rears his head and comes into the airspace of the United States of America, where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our State.

Has anyone yet figured out what any of her answer to Katie Couric’s question means? One has to believe she was testing her skill as a deadpan comedian because she followed up this answer with an even better answer.

Couric: Why isn’t it better, Governor Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries; allow them to spend more and put more money into the economy instead of helping those big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

Palin: That’s why I say I, like every American I’m speaking with, we’re ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, helping the – it’s got to be all about job creation, too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes, and reigning in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we’ve got to see trade, as opportunity not as competitive, scary thing. But one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. The bailout is a part of that.

Political science majors in college and election campaign advisors will be studying both of these answer for years. But just grasp if you will how, in her second answer,she is able to connect the dots. The bailout, Palin says, makes her and other Americans ill. So the bailout needs to bail out health care, presumably, so we can get over our illness with the bailout. This is masterful.

But the bailout is also about job creation (whose?), reducing taxes (really?), reigning in spending (all $700 billion worth?), and trade (this is part of her comedy routine apparently). And then in the spirit of Halloween which is just around the corner, she says trade should be seen as an opportunity, not just as a scary thing. Brilliant. But she forgot to mention Christmas and being a maverick cleaning up Washington. Rats.

This isn’t just comedy or entertainment. This is politics at it’s most lucid. Or is that ludicrous?

Premiere for Hari Puttar – a Comedy of Terrors

Jatin Pandit avered that though his kid missed the premiere, he did not want to give the event a miss as the catchy music by Adesh Shrivastav was refreshingly infectious and seemed to grow on you.

The premiere also featured lots of masti elements – balloons, festoons, Hari Puttar & Funtoon tattoos, and good music.

Established brands such Britannia Treat, Diamond Comics, McDonalds, Zapak Games, Indiatimes, Radio Mirchi, Zoom, Times Now, Times Out Of Home, Navbharat Times, and Newspaper in Education have collaborated on the film. Comedy in Seattle

It is said that laughter really is the best medicine. If that is the case then Seattle should be a pretty healthy city. There is plenty of laughter to be had in this great city and even more to be shared with those who choose to visit. If you are planning a trip to Seattle Washington, be sure to check out the many comedy clubs that can be found throughout the city.

There are at least three of these comedy clubs that stand out and make a lasting impression. The first one is Comedy Underground. With locations in both Seattle and Tacoma you can pretty much take your pick between whichever one has the comedian you are most interested in seeing perform. The clubs actually have a fairly impressive menu and you are allowed to eat during the show. Just make sure that your food doesn’t smell too good or the comedian might heckle you. The really good news is that Comedy Underground is open 7 nights a week with several open mic nights when you can see local talent. Those are often the most interesting to watch. Tickets can be purchased for reasonable prices; especially during open mic nights and the performances are a lot of fun to watch. This is a great way to spend an evening and bring a date.

Giggles Comedy Night Club is the next one on my list. This club is only open Thursday through Sunday nights and has a one-drink minimum when there is a headliner and a two-drink minimum on open mic nights. Giggles features acts that you may have seen around a bit rather than only offering local talent. The comedy is good and the drinks are better. This is a great place to go and bring a group of friends along. The more the merrier when it comes to comedy, laughter, and liquor. Just remember to appoint a designated driver or have other plans for your ride home.

Now we get to the Jet City Improv. The Jet City Improv has grown and expanded over time and is now one of the most popular theatre experiences in the Seattle area. One of the great things about these shows is that they are suitable for all ages. So this is a more family friendly environment than most other comedy clubs in the area. The entire show is improvised nightly based on audience participation and suggestions. This is one of the most hilarious theatre experiences you can possibly imagine. And the more you can imagine the funnier it will get. I seriously recommend that you bring some Advil or some other sort of pain medicine along with you, as your sides will hurt before the night is over.

Whether you are a serious fan of comedy or someone who is only interested because it is a liver performance, I think you will be surprised by how much fun you have at any one of these three locations. My personal favorite is the improv but this is solely based on the audience participation factor and the fact that you pretty much know what to expect when going in. You never know what you are going to get when you hit an open mic night at some comedy clubs-sometimes the show is wonderful and sometimes the show is not so wonderful. The important thing is that you laugh often and you laugh well.

TV Show Castle – The Intermix Of Comedy And Complex Crime Story

You may wonder how a new mystery/detective series could get you to watch when network and cable TV is saturated with them. First, Richard Castle is played by the talented Nathan Fillion. Can this really be the same person who played Dr.Pomattor in Waitress?  Fan’s of Joss Whedon’s ‘Firefly’ and ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along’ will also be familiar with Fillion. Like the great fictional detectives of the past, Castle uses a mix of comedy, romance, and whodunit to craft an engaging story arc that will keep you watching. And female fans will find a lot to appreciate as well. Stana Katic, as Detective Kate Beckett, carries the female counterpoint to Fillion’s Richard Castle. She has earned a role co-starring in her own show, after playing parts in various episodes of other shows. Add to that Castle’s daughter, Alexis (Molly C. Quinn), and his mother, Martha Heath (Susan Sullivan) and a police force filled with well-portrayed supporting actors.

Even with such a great group of actors it’s the writing that keeps me watching. Written by Barry Schindel, David Grae, Andrew W. Marlowe, and Charles Murray the pilot was a solid introduction to this new series and its characters. After the first show was apprehensive that the writers could keep the intermix of comedy and complex crime stories going for an entire season. I have been wrong.

Castle and Beckett are the classic pair who have a relationship filled with sexual tension, the male pushing, the woman keeping him at arms length. He is a successful fiction writer who has been allowed to shadow Beckett, much to her chagrin. Although he often gets in the way, speaks out of turn, and manages to be annoying, he also redeems himself. Slowly, Beckett is learning to have faith in Castle, including his risk-taking, and finds herself caring more and more about him. And he has small ways of endearing himself to the staff, such as buying them a very upscale coffee machine.

Castle’s mom and daughter are both full of contrasting elements. His mother is immature, takes advantage, and bears watching. Wise beyond her age, the daughter holds her grandmother in line and provides a lot of support for her father. Castle is a dedicated dad who frets without reason (so far) for Alexis. She is one of the best actors in the series. Given her youth she should have a long career.

I cannot wait to watch the next episode. I hope it will run for a long time. I’m especially excited about upcoming shows because I just ordered the Comcast HD Triple Play. A short time ago, I finally got my own HDTV so soon I will be able to relax watch all of me favorite TV shows like Castle in high-def sound and picture. Since CONTROL agents’ identities are exposed, Max’s chief promotes Max as Agent 86, who teams up with stylish, capable Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway), the only spy whose cover remains untouched and has been assigned to thwart the evil plans of KAOS.

After a series of mishaps, Agent 86 and Agent 99 travel to Russia, trying to trace out KAOS’ recently acquired nuclear materials through its chief bombmaker, Krstic. During a luxurious party hosted by Krstic, the duo agents trace the nuclear material to a KAOS nuclear weapons factory, which is disguised as a Moscow bakery. In the meanwhile, the Chief sends Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson) to perceive the clean-up of the factory, but KAOS manages to move the weapons out through the Moskva River.

Since the information about tracking the weapons has been leaked out, CONTROL suspects Max to be the double-agent, and takes him under custody. But, Max soon escapes from the prison and convince his partner, Agent 99. Soon he discovers that Agent 23 is working as the double-agent exposing that he was lying about the bakery. Immediately, Agent 23 takes Agent 99 as his hostage. Can Max save his lover/partner, Agent 99? Will the agents put an end to KAOS’s evil plans?
